Our goal isn’t simply to sell firearms—it’s to build long-term relationships by providing honest service, transparent policies, competitive pricing, and an enjoyable auction experience.
Some of the things that set us apart include:
Texas Licensed Auctioneer
Type 07 FFL & Class 3 SOT

Why should I trust Diamond K Armory?
We understand that purchasing firearms online—or trusting someone with your collection—requires confidence in the people you’re doing business with.
That’s a responsibility we don’t take lightly.
We’re proud to be:
A federally licensed Type 07 FFL
A Class 3 SOT
A Texas Licensed Auctioneer
A family-owned small business
Although Texas does not require online-only auction companies to employ a licensed auctioneer, we chose to become licensed because we believe our customers deserve the professionalism, accountability, and ethical standards that come with it.
Trust isn’t built through advertising—it’s earned through honesty, consistency, and treating people fairly.
Are you a small business?
Yes.
Diamond K Armory is a locally owned, family-operated small business that was built from the ground up without outside investors or large startup loans.
When you contact us, you’re speaking directly with the people who photograph firearms, write descriptions, answer emails, process transfers, pack shipments, and build every auction.
While we may not have the buying power of large national retailers, we believe personalized service, accountability, and genuine customer relationships are things they simply can’t replicate.
Why do you do what you do?
Because we genuinely love what we do.
Diamond K Armory wasn’t started simply to sell firearms—it was built to create the kind of business we would be proud to support ourselves.
We enjoy the history behind firearms, the engineering, the collecting, the hunting and shooting sports, and the relationships we’ve built with customers from across the country.
Every firearm has a story, and every collection represents years—sometimes generations—of memories. Whether we’re helping someone purchase their very first firearm, find a rare collectible they’ve been searching for, or helping a family sell a loved one’s lifelong collection, we understand that these transactions often mean much more than simply buying and selling.
As a family-owned business, our Christian faith also plays an important role in how we strive to conduct ourselves. We believe in treating people with honesty, integrity, respect, and fairness—not because we’re required to, but because it’s who we strive to be.
At the end of the day, our success isn’t measured only by the number of firearms we sell. It’s measured by the trust we earn, the relationships we build, and the reputation we leave behind.
We’re grateful for every customer who chooses to support our business, and we never take that trust for granted.
Are you like other online firearm auction companies?
In many ways, no—and that’s intentional.
Diamond K Armory was built because we believed there was room for something different.
Over the years, we’ve heard plenty of horror stories from customers who have purchased through other auction companies—which we’ll leave unnamed. Stories about month-long shipping delays, surprise fees that appeared after the auction, poor communication, endless runarounds, and important policies that only seemed to appear after there was a problem.
We don’t mention those experiences to criticize other businesses or imply affiliation with any particular auction company. Every business operates differently.
We mention them because those stories helped shape the way we built Diamond K Armory.
We asked ourselves a simple question:
“If we were the customer, how would we want to be treated?”
The answer became the foundation of our business.
That means:
No ridiculous or made-up fees.
No intentionally hiding important policies in our Terms & Conditions.
No giving customers the runaround when they need help.
No misleading or dishonest communication.
No unnecessary delays—we work hard to process, pack, and ship orders as quickly as possible while ensuring they’re done correctly.
Honest, straightforward customer service.
Transparent pricing and expectations from the very beginning.
We’re proud to be a Texas-licensed auctioneer, even though our business model doesn’t require it. We chose to become licensed because we believe professionalism, ethics, continuing education, and accountability matter.
We’re also a federally licensed Type 07 FFL and Class 3 SOT, allowing us to handle everything from everyday firearms to suppressors, machine guns, and other NFA items.
We believe customers should know exactly what they’re agreeing to before they bid. That’s why our fees, policies, and procedures are clearly explained in our Terms & Conditions and throughout this FAQ. Nothing is intentionally hidden, and we don’t believe in surprise charges after the auction is over.
Are we perfect?
No.
Mistakes happen in every business.
The difference is how those mistakes are handled.
If we make a mistake, we’ll own it, communicate honestly, and work toward a fair solution.
Most importantly, we believe respect goes both ways.
If you treat us with honesty and respect, we’ll gladly return that same respect.
Our goal isn’t to be like the companies that create those horror stories.
Our goal is to set a higher standard for online firearm auctions and earn your business every time you choose Diamond K Armory.
Why are your Terms & Conditions so detailed?
Because we’ve learned from experience.
Every policy in our Terms & Conditions exists because, at some point, a situation occurred that made additional clarification necessary.
Rather than hiding important information in fine print or making decisions after the fact, we believe it’s better to explain our expectations up front.
Most customers will never need to reference the majority of our Terms & Conditions—but they’re there to protect buyers, consignors, and Diamond K Armory if unusual situations arise.
Why are you a licensed auctioneer if you don’t have to be?
Although Texas does not require online-only auction companies to operate under a licensed auctioneer, we chose to become licensed because we believe it demonstrates our commitment to professionalism, continuing education, ethical business practices, and accountability.
We believe our customers deserve more than the minimum legal requirements.
Are you firearm enthusiasts too?
Absolutely.
Before we became dealers and auctioneers, we were enthusiasts, collectors, hunters, and shooters ourselves.
We enjoy researching firearms, learning their history, discovering unique pieces, and helping connect them with people who appreciate them.
That’s one of the reasons you’ll frequently see unusual, collectible, military surplus, limited-edition, and hard-to-find firearms in our auctions.
Why do you have Mystery Lots, giveaways, and other promotions?
Because auctions should be fun.
Of course we’re here to sell firearms, but we’re also here to create an experience that people genuinely enjoy participating in.
Throughout the year you may see Mystery Lots, giveaways, Golden Ticket promotions, and other surprises designed to make our auctions more exciting.
Without our bidders and consignors, Diamond K Armory wouldn’t exist. These promotions are simply one of the ways we like to give back to the people who support us.
What’s your philosophy?
It’s simple:
Treat people the way we’d want to be treated.
Before we became dealers and auctioneers, we were customers too. We’ve experienced hidden fees, poor communication, misleading advertisements, and companies that treated us like just another order number.
Those experiences helped shape the way we operate today.
We believe in being transparent, communicating honestly, admitting mistakes when they’re genuinely ours, and constantly looking for ways to improve.
Our goal isn’t to become the biggest auction company—it’s to become one of the most trusted.
How can I support Diamond K Armory?
The best way to support us is simply by continuing to do business with us.
You can also help by:
Leaving us a Google review
Sharing our auctions with friends and family
Following us on social media
Consigning your firearms with us
Participating in future auctions
Every bid, every purchase, every consignment, and every recommendation helps us continue growing, and we sincerely appreciate your support.
Why are you a licensed auctioneer?
Although Texas does not require online-only auction companies to operate under a licensed auctioneer, we chose to become licensed because we believe our customers deserve professionalism, accountability, continuing education, and ethical business practices.
We believe in exceeding expectations—not simply meeting minimum requirements.
BIDDING & HOW OUR ONLINE AUCTIONS WORK
Why can’t I bid?
There are several reasons you may be unable to place a bid:
- Your auction registration has not yet been approved.
- Your HiBid account information is incomplete or could not be verified.
- The card used for registration was declined or failed verification.
- Your account has a negative bidder rating, unpaid invoice, chargeback history, or previous non-payment.
- Additional identification, a deposit, or another payment method may be required.
- The lot has already closed or bidding has been paused.
- The item may be restricted in your location.
- The item may not appear through HiBid’s public marketplace and must be accessed through Diamond K Armory’s branded auction page.
- Your account may have been suspended or declined at Diamond K Armory’s discretion.
Registration approval is not always automatic. Some registrations are reviewed manually, especially for new bidders, high-value purchases, limited bidding history, or accounts showing elevated payment risk.
If the auction is closing soon, contact us immediately:
How do your auctions work?
Diamond K Armory conducts online-only timed auctions using a Soft Close format.
Each lot has a scheduled closing time. However, if a bid is placed during the final moments before a lot closes, additional time is automatically added to that lot. This process continues until no additional bids are received.
What is a Soft Close?
A Soft Close automatically extends the closing time of a lot whenever a bid is placed during the final moments of bidding.
This allows other interested bidders an opportunity to respond before the lot closes.
Why do you use a Soft Close?
We believe auctions should be won by the highest bidder—not the bidder with the fastest internet connection.
Soft Close helps eliminate “auction sniping” and creates a fairer, more competitive auction for both buyers and consignors.
What is Max Bidding?
Max Bidding allows you to enter the highest amount you’re willing to pay for an item.
The bidding system will automatically bid on your behalf using only the minimum amount necessary to keep you in the lead, up to your maximum bid.
Can other bidders see my Max Bid?
No.
Why should I use Max Bidding?
Max Bidding is especially useful if:
You can’t watch the auction live.
You’re bidding on multiple items.
You don’t want to manually increase your bid every few minutes.
You want to avoid missing an item because of internet issues or distractions.
Simply enter the maximum you’re comfortable paying and let the bidding software do the work.
Why did the bidding jump so quickly?
In most cases, another bidder had already entered a higher Max Bid.
The bidding software automatically responded on their behalf using only the minimum amount necessary to maintain their lead.
What may appear to be someone bidding instantly is often just the software working exactly as designed.
Why was I immediately outbid?
The current high bidder likely had a higher Max Bid already entered.
When you placed your bid, the system automatically increased their bid just enough to remain in the lead.
How are bid increments determined?
Bids increase according to predetermined bid increments established by the auction platform.
The bidding software automatically uses the smallest increment necessary to maintain the current high bid.
Why did my item’s lot number change?
Occasionally, lot numbers may change before the auction begins or while we’re still building the catalog.
This can happen for several reasons, including:
Adding newly received consignments.
Reorganizing categories.
Grouping similar items together.
Correcting catalog errors.
Improving the overall flow of the auction.
While we try to minimize changes, building an auction with hundreds or even thousands of lots sometimes requires adjustments.
We recommend using your Watch List to keep track of items rather than relying solely on lot numbers.
Why did my item disappear?
Usually, it hasn’t.
There are several reasons an item may no longer appear where you expected:
The item is being censored by HiBid, and you need to view our branded catalog page.
The lot number changed.
The item was moved to a different category.
Additional lots were inserted ahead of it.
The auction platform is displaying a filtered search.
The item was removed from the auction.
If you can’t locate an item, try searching by the manufacturer’s name or model instead of the lot number.
If you still can’t find it, feel free to contact us.
Why did my item change?
Occasionally, we’ll update a listing before the auction closes – before the auction starts.
Examples include:
Correcting an error.
Adding additional photographs.
Updating the description.
Correcting the caliber, model, or specifications.
Adding important information provided by the consignor.
Replacing representative photos with actual photos.
Our goal is always to provide the most accurate information possible before bidding ends.
Why are new items being added to the auction?
We’re constantly receiving new consignments.
Rather than making customers wait until the following month, we often continue adding items while the auction is live.
This gives bidders more variety, allows us to post the latest deals/releases, and allows consignors to get their items into the current auction whenever possible.
Be sure to check back frequently—you never know what might be added next.
Why does the catalog keep growing?
Many of our auctions continue to grow right up until the catalog is finalized.
As new consignments arrive, additional firearms are photographed, and Order-In inventory is selected, new lots may be added.
We encourage bidders to check back often, as some of the most interesting items may not appear until later in the listing process.
How can I keep track of items I’ve already bid on?
The easiest way is by using your auction platform’s Watch List and My Bids features.
These tools allow you to quickly monitor:
Items you’ve bid on.
Items you’re watching.
Whether you’ve been outbid.
Remaining time before each lot closes.
Many bidders rely almost exclusively on these features instead of scrolling through the entire catalog.
What’s the best way to watch items I’m interested in?
We highly recommend adding items to your Watch List as you browse.
Your Watch List creates a personalized view of the auction, making it much easier to:
Find items later.
Compare firearms.
Monitor bidding activity.
Follow lots as the auction grows.
Avoid searching through hundreds or thousands of listings.
It’s one of the most useful features available on the auction platform.
Why isn’t the lot number I’m looking for in the catalog?
Sometimes you’ll notice missing lot numbers.
In most cases, this simply means that you are viewing the censored catalog, a lot was removed, combined with another item, or renumbered during the catalog-building process.
It does not necessarily mean you’ve missed an item or that there’s a problem with the auction.
As the catalog develops, occasional gaps in lot numbers are completely normal. For that reason, we recommend searching by manufacturer or model name—or using your Watch List—rather than relying solely on lot numbers.
Will more items be added after I’ve already started bidding?
Often, yes.
Many of our customers browse the auction multiple times before it closes because new consignments and additional inventory may continue to be added.
If you’re looking for something specific, it’s worth checking back throughout the week.
What is a reserve price?
Some consignments are sold subject to a confidential reserve price.
A reserve is simply the minimum amount the consignor has agreed to accept for an item.
Not every item has a reserve.
Reserve amounts are confidential and are not disclosed to bidders.
What happens if the reserve isn’t met?
If bidding does not meet the confidential reserve, the item may remain unsold or become available through our After Sales Program at the consignor’s discretion.
Do you shill bid?
No.
Diamond K Armory does not engage in shill bidding or any other form of fraudulent bidding.
Our reputation depends on conducting honest, transparent auctions, and we have no interest in manipulating auction results.
What is reserve bidding?
Where permitted by law, Diamond K Armory may place bids on behalf of a consignor up to—but never above—the confidential reserve price.
Once the reserve has been met, Diamond K Armory no longer bids on behalf of the consignor.
From that point forward, the selling price is determined solely by legitimate competitive bidding between registered bidders.
Why doesn’t Diamond K Armory shill bid?
Quite simply—it wouldn’t make business sense.
Our goal is to sell items, not keep them.
If an item doesn’t sell, everyone loses.
The consignor doesn’t get paid.
The buyer doesn’t receive the item.
Diamond K Armory doesn’t earn a commission.
We still invest time photographing, researching, cataloging, marketing, storing, and answering questions about the item.
Our success depends on successful sales—not unsold inventory.
I was the underbidder. Did Diamond K Armory bid me up?
Not necessarily.
If you were the underbidder, one of two things generally occurred:
Another registered bidder had entered a higher bid or Max Bid than yours; or
The item had a confidential reserve that had not yet been met, and where permitted by law, Diamond K Armory placed bids on behalf of the consignor up to—but never above—that reserve.
Once the reserve has been met, Diamond K Armory no longer bids on behalf of the consignor.
Can consignors bid on their own items?
No.
Consignors may not bid on their own property, either directly or indirectly through another person or bidding account.
Doing so undermines the integrity of the auction and may result in canceled bids, suspension from future auctions, termination of the consignment agreement, or other remedies available under our Terms & Conditions.
Can I retract or cancel a bid after my item has closed?
No.
Please bid carefully.
Once a bid has been placed, it becomes part of the competitive bidding process and cannot normally be removed.
In limited circumstances, Diamond K Armory may correct obvious clerical errors before a lot closes. Simply changing your mind, misunderstanding the listing, or accidentally clicking the bid button are generally not valid reasons to remove a bid.
Why don’t you cancel bids?
Every bid affects the auction.
Other bidders make decisions based on current bidding activity, consignors rely on bidders honoring their commitments, and the integrity of the auction depends on everyone playing by the same rules.
Allowing bidders to freely cancel bids would be unfair to both consignors and competing bidders.
What happens if I accidentally bid on the wrong item?
Please contact us immediately.
While we cannot guarantee that a bid can be removed, contacting us before the lot closes gives us the best opportunity to review the situation.
Once the lot has closed, bids are considered final.
What if my internet goes out while I’m bidding?
Internet service, mobile devices, computers, and the auction platform are outside of Diamond K Armory’s control.
We strongly recommend using Max Bidding whenever possible to reduce the risk of missing an item due to technical issues.
Why is the auction still going hours after it was supposed to end?
Large auctions often contain hundreds or even thousands of lots.
Because each lot utilizes a Soft Close, active bidding may continue for several hours after the first lot closes.
This is completely normal and simply means bidders are continuing to compete for items.
When have I officially won an item?
You become the winning bidder when:
You are in the lead when the item closes.
Once those conditions have been satisfied, you have entered into a legally binding agreement to purchase that item in accordance with our Terms & Conditions.
What happens after I win?
After the auction concludes, we’ll begin preparing invoices and processing payments.
The next section of this FAQ covers everything that happens after the auction, including invoices, payment methods, pickup, shipping, After Sales, and default policies.
Why do you have reserve prices?
Every consignment is different.
Some consignors are comfortable selling without a reserve, while others want to protect the minimum value they’re willing to accept.
Reserve prices allow us to serve both types of consignors while still maintaining a competitive auction.
GENERAL QUESTIONS & CUSTOMER SUPPORT
Can I get an FRT in Texas?
Yes. Forced Reset Triggers (FRTs) are generally legal to own in Texas, subject to applicable federal and state laws. Following federal court action and a 2025 Department of Justice settlement involving certain FRTs, qualifying forced reset triggers are not treated as machine guns under the federal classification at issue in that litigation.
Laws and regulations can change, and legality may depend on the specific device and configuration. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
We will not ship this item to : FL, CA, CO, CT, DE, HI, IL, MD, MN, NJ,NV, NY,OR and RI.
Are all sales final?
Unless otherwise stated in our Terms & Conditions or required by law, all auction sales are final.
Please carefully review the description, photographs, and ask any questions before placing a bid.
Do you guarantee authenticity?
Yes.
Every effort is made to accurately identify and describe the items we sell.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, items represented as authentic are believed to be authentic to the best of our knowledge.
If you believe an item has been materially misrepresented, please contact us immediately so we can review the matter.
Are used firearms test fired before being sold?
Not necessarily.
Due to the wide variety of firearms we sell, most used firearms are not test fired.
Descriptions are based upon visual inspection unless otherwise stated.
Are firearms sold ready to fire?
Every firearm should be inspected and handled safely before use.
We strongly recommend that used, collectible, surplus, antique, or modified firearms be inspected by a qualified gunsmith before firing.
Always verify that any firearm is unloaded before handling it.
Do used firearms include a warranty?
Generally, no.
Used firearms are sold in their current condition unless otherwise stated.
Manufacturer warranties, if any, are determined solely by the manufacturer.
Why don’t you completely clean or restore every firearm?
Many collectors prefer firearms in their original condition.
Aggressive cleaning, refinishing, polishing, or restoration can reduce collector value and alter originality.
Unless necessary for identification or photography, we generally leave firearms in the condition they were received.
If there are multiple identical lots, are they exactly the same?
Not always.
Multiple-quantity items may have:
Different serial numbers
Different production dates
Different wood grain
Minor cosmetic variations
Different packaging
Representative photographs may be used unless otherwise noted.
Can I request a serial number before bidding?
Usually, yes.
For security reasons we may not publish complete serial numbers in every listing.
If you have a legitimate reason for needing a serial number, please contact us before bidding and we’ll do our best to assist.
Why don’t you photograph every imperfection?
We try our best, but photography has limitations.
Lighting, reflections, camera angles, and screen settings can all affect how cosmetic wear appears.
While we try to accurately represent each item, no photograph can perfectly capture every detail.
If condition is especially important to you, please attend preview or contact us before bidding.
Can you identify my firearm?
Absolutely.
We’re happy to help identify:
Manufacturer
Model
Caliber
Approximate age
General collectibility
Photographs and visible markings are always helpful.
Do you perform appraisals?
We can often provide general market guidance and auction expectations.
Formal written appraisals may be available by appointment.
Please contact us to discuss your specific needs.
Do you buy firearms?
Yes.
We purchase individual firearms, estates, collections, and related items.
If you’d prefer immediate payment instead of consigning, we’d be happy to discuss purchasing your firearms outright.
Can you special order firearms?
Absolutely.
If you’re looking for something that isn’t currently listed in one of our auctions, contact us.
If it’s available through one of our distributors or manufacturers, we’ll do our best to locate it and provide a quote.
Do you perform gunsmithing?
Please contact us regarding your specific needs.
Some services may be available, while others may require referral to a qualified gunsmith.
I’m an FFL dealer. Can I get a copy of your FFL?
Absolutely.
We’ll gladly provide our Federal Firearms License to another licensed dealer whenever necessary to complete a lawful transfer.
Do you use AI to write descriptions?
We utilize technology, including AI-assisted drafting tools, to help organize information and improve efficiency.
However, every listing is reviewed, edited, and approved by Diamond K Armory before publication.
AI is a tool—not a replacement for experience, research, or human review.
Do you sell my personal information?
No.
We value your privacy.
Diamond K Armory does not sell your personal information to third parties.
Customer information is used only as necessary to conduct business, comply with applicable laws, and provide the services you’ve requested.
What’s the best way to contact Diamond K Armory?
Text and email is generally the fastest and most reliable way to reach us.
Phone calls are always welcome during business hours.
Social media messages are monitored but should not be relied upon for urgent matters such as payment deadlines, shipping changes, or auction questions.
Why didn’t anyone answer the phone?
Immediately following or during an auction, our small team may be:
Processing hundreds of invoices
Packing shipments
Assisting customers
Completing firearm transfers
Answering emails
Preparing the next auction
If we’re unable to answer immediately, please leave a voicemail or send us an email.
We’ll return your message as soon as possible.
Can I leave a review?
Absolutely—and we’d truly appreciate it.
Whether your experience was buying, selling, consigning, or transferring a firearm, your feedback helps us continue improving and helps future customers feel confident doing business with us.
If we’ve earned your business, we’d be grateful if you’d consider leaving us a Google review.
Why did I receive a second invoice?
The second invoice, or Link-To-Pay, is often for shipping but may include-
After Sales purchases
Special Orders
Other unique situations
Can I use my own shipping label?
Generally, no.
To ensure proper insurance, tracking, and compliance with firearm shipping requirements, Diamond K Armory prepares all outgoing shipments using our own shipping accounts.
If you believe that you have a valid exception, please feel free to reach out.
Why does my invoice include separate shipping charges for ammunition?
Federal carrier regulations require ammunition to ship separately from firearms in many situations.
Whenever required by law or carrier policy, ammunition will be packaged and shipped separately.
Do you test every firearm?
No.
While we inspect and evaluate firearms to the best of our ability, most used firearms are not test-fired unless specifically stated in the description.
Why don’t you answer messages immediately after the auction?
Immediately following an auction, our small team is often:
Processing hundreds of invoices.
Packing shipments.
Assisting pickup appointments.
Processing firearm transfers.
Answering emails and phone calls.
Preparing the next auction.
We answer messages as quickly as possible and appreciate your patience.
What if I think there is an error in a listing?
Please let us know.
Nobody is perfect, and occasionally mistakes happen.
If you believe you’ve found an error in a listing, contact us before the lot closes.
We’ll gladly review the information and make corrections when appropriate.
Why do you ask bidders to contact you before filing a chargeback?
Most problems can be resolved much faster through direct communication than through a chargeback.
If something isn’t right, give us the opportunity to make it right first.
We genuinely want satisfied customers and will always work toward a fair solution when possible.
What happens if a firearm arrives damaged?
While we pack firearms carefully and record every package, shipping damage can occasionally occur.
Please contact us immediately and retain all packaging materials.
If your shipment was insured, we’ll help guide you through the claims process.
Why do some auctions have over 1,000 lots?
Large auctions allow us to offer a wider variety of firearms, accessories, consignments, and Order-In inventory while giving customers more opportunities to find exactly what they’re looking for.
Can I suggest something you’d like to see in a future auction?
Absolutely!
We love hearing from our customers.
Whether it’s a specific firearm, manufacturer, accessory, or a new Mystery Lot idea, we’re always looking for ways to make future auctions even better.
Why isn’t my item immediately available for pickup?
Some items require additional processing before they can be released.
This may include:
Payment verification
Firearm transfers
Receipt of Order-In inventory
Manufacturer shipments
Administrative processing
We’ll notify you as soon as your order is ready.
Why don’t you allow weekend pickups?
Most of our auctions end on Saturdays, which are also our busiest processing days.
Limiting pickups during this time allows us to focus on processing invoices, answering customer questions, preparing shipments, and getting orders ready as quickly and accurately as possible.
Appointments during normal business hours help us provide better service to everyone.
I still have a question. What should I do?
Just ask.
If you don’t see your question answered in this FAQ, please contact us.
Many of the questions in this guide came directly from customers, and we’ll continue adding to it as Diamond K Armory grows.
We’d much rather answer your question before the auction than solve a misunderstanding afterward.
Why aren’t you open every weekend?
Like many small businesses, work at Diamond K Armory doesn’t stop when the doors close.
Throughout the week, our team is busy receiving consignments, photographing hundreds of items, researching firearms, writing descriptions, answering emails and phone calls, processing transfers, packing shipments, assisting customers, building future auctions, and handling the countless behind-the-scenes tasks required to keep the business running.
To continue providing the level of service our customers expect, we reserve most non-auction weekends for rest, time with our families, and preparing for the week ahead.
On Sunday mornings, we also make it a priority to attend church before returning to any remaining after-auction tasks and spending time with our families.
We believe that taking time to recharge spiritually, mentally, and physically allows us to return each week focused, energized, and ready to provide the level of service our customers deserve.
We appreciate your understanding and sincerely thank you for supporting a locally owned small business
GETTING STARTED & REGISTRATION
How do I register for an auction?
Registering is free and only takes a few minutes.
Simply create an account through our auction platform, provide the requested information, and agree to our Terms & Conditions.
Some registrations may require additional review before bidding privileges are granted.
Why wasn’t I approved immediately?
Not every registration is automatically approved.
To help protect our buyers, consignors, and the integrity of our auctions, some accounts require additional verification before bidding privileges are granted.
Approval decisions may consider factors such as:
Previous bidding history
Payment history
Identity verification
Fraud prevention measures
Auction platform recommendations
Compliance with applicable laws
Why do you verify bidders?
Online auctions involve legally binding transactions.
Verification helps reduce fraud, protect consignors, and create a safer auction environment for legitimate bidders.
These procedures help ensure everyone is competing on a level playing field.
Is there a fee to register?
No.
Creating an account and registering for our auctions is completely free.
You are only responsible for payment if you become the winning bidder on one or more lots.
Can anyone bid?
Generally, yes.
However, bidders must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Diamond K Armory reserves the right to approve, deny, suspend, or revoke bidding privileges at our sole discretion.
Do I need to be local to bid?
No.
We welcome bidders from across the United States and, where legally permitted, certain international customers.
We routinely ship firearms to licensed dealers nationwide and have also shipped eligible non-restricted items internationally.
Can I bid from my phone or tablet?
Absolutely.
Many of our customers bid exclusively from their mobile devices.
The auction platform is compatible with most modern smartphones, tablets, and computers.
Can I register after the auction starts?
Yes.
As long as bidder registration remains open, you may register even after bidding has begun.
However, we recommend registering early in case additional verification is required.
How do I know if I’m approved?
Once approved, you’ll be able to place bids on auction items.
If additional information is needed, you’ll typically receive a notification from the auction platform or from Diamond K Armory.
What should I look at before placing a bid?
We recommend reviewing every lot carefully before bidding.
Be sure to review:
The title
The complete description
All photographs
Caliber or chambering
Manufacturer and model
Included accessories
Shipping restrictions
Order-In designation (if applicable)
Any special notes
Don’t rely solely on the lot title.
Important information is often found within the description.
Are the photos part of the description?
Yes.
The photographs are an important part of every listing and should always be reviewed together with the written description.
Whenever practical, we photograph items from multiple angles to help bidders evaluate condition before placing a bid.
Why don’t some photos show every imperfection?
Photography has limitations.
Lighting, reflections, camera angles, monitor settings, and screen brightness can all affect how finishes and cosmetic wear appear.
We do our best to accurately represent each item, but we encourage bidders to review all photographs carefully and ask questions before bidding.
Are all photos of the actual item?
Not always.
Most used firearms are individually photographed.
Representative photographs may be used for:
Order-In items
Factory new inventory
Multiple-quantity lots
Manufacturer-supplied images
Whenever representative photographs are used, the written description controls.
If it isn’t pictured, is it included?
Unless specifically stated otherwise, only the items shown in the photographs or described in the listing are included.
Please don’t assume that original boxes, manuals, magazines, choke tubes, accessories, tools, or other factory items are included simply because they originally came with the firearm when new.
Can I inspect items before bidding?
Yes.
Whenever possible, preview dates and times are announced with each auction.
We encourage bidders to inspect items in person before bidding whenever practical.
Please note that Order-In items and certain off-site consignments may not be available for preview.
Can I request additional photos?
Absolutely.
If time permits and the item is available, we’ll do our best to provide additional photographs or answer specific questions before the auction closes.
Because of the volume of lots in our auctions, we cannot guarantee that every request can be accommodated.
Can I ask questions before bidding?
Please do.
We encourage questions before placing a bid.
Whether you have questions about condition, bore quality, accessories, compatibility, shipping, transfers, or anything else, we’d much rather answer your questions beforehand than resolve a misunderstanding after the auction closes.
What if I forget to ask before bidding?
Once the auction has closed, our ability to address certain concerns becomes much more limited.
For that reason, we strongly encourage bidders to review each listing carefully and ask any questions before the lot closes.
This is my first online auction. Any advice?
Absolutely.
If you’re new to online auctions, we recommend:
Read the Terms & Conditions.
Review this FAQ.
Examine every photograph.
Read the complete description.
Ask questions before bidding.
Use Max Bidding if you’re unable to watch the auction live.
Bid only if you’re prepared to complete the purchase.
Most importantly—have fun.
Our goal is to make your first auction experience enjoyable enough that you’ll want to participate again.
I’m an FFL dealer. Do I register the same way?
Yes.
Dealers register through the same process as all other bidders.
If you win firearms, we’ll simply need a copy of your current FFL before shipment unless we already have one on file.
Can I register someone else to bid for me?
No.
Each bidder should register under their own account using accurate personal information.
Sharing accounts or bidding on behalf of another individual may create legal and administrative issues and is strongly discouraged.
What if my contact information changes?
Please update your account as soon as possible.
Keeping your email address, phone number, billing address, shipping address, and payment information current helps prevent delays with invoices, shipping, and communication after the auction.
AFTER THE AUCTION, INVOICES & PAYMENTS
What happens after the auction closes?
Once the auction has completely ended, our team begins processing invoices, verifying payments, reviewing FFL information, and organizing orders for pickup and shipping.
Please be patient. Depending on the size of the auction, this process may take several hours.
When will I receive my invoice?
Invoices are typically emailed after the auction has completely concluded.
Large auctions may take additional time to process, especially if bidding continues for several hours due to Soft Close.
I haven’t received my invoice. What should I do?
First, please check:
Spam folder
Junk folder
Promotions folder
If you still haven’t received your invoice within a reasonable amount of time after the auction has ended, please contact us.
How can I pay?
We currently accept:
Credit & Debit Cards
ACH / E-Check (with prior approval)
Cash (in-store)
Checks (with prior approval)
Please refer to the Payment Information page or your invoice for current fees and payment deadlines.
When will my credit card be charged?
Unless other arrangements have been approved in advance, cards on file are typically processed after invoices have been prepared.
Please ensure your card information is current and available before the auction closes.
Can I pay with a different card?
Yes.
If you would like to use a different card than the one on file, you can use the invoice sent via email to add an alternative payment method. Please contact us before your card is processed.
Do you accept checks?
Yes—with prior approval.
Checks must be approved before the auction closes and must be received within the required timeframe outlined in our Terms & Conditions.
Items paid by check may not ship until the check has cleared.
Do you accept ACH or E-Checks?
Yes.
ACH and E-Check payments are available with prior approval and are subject to our current processing fee.
Please contact us before the auction closes if you wish to pay by ACH.
Is there a fee for paying by credit card?
Yes.
Current credit card processing fees are disclosed prior to bidding and are reflected in our Terms & Conditions.
Can I split my payment between multiple cards?
No.
At this time, split credit card payments are generally not accepted.
When is payment due?
Payment deadlines are listed on your invoice and in our Terms & Conditions.
Prompt payment helps us process orders quickly and keeps the auction moving efficiently for everyone.
What happens if I don’t pay on time?
Accounts that remain unpaid may be subject to:
Late fees
Suspension of bidding privileges
Cancellation of future bidder approvals
Collection efforts
Legal action when appropriate
Please communicate with us if an unexpected situation arises. We’re much more likely to work with customers who communicate than those who simply disappear.
Can I have more time to pay?
Possibly.
Extensions are considered on a case-by-case basis and are never guaranteed.
Please contact us before your payment deadline if you believe you’ll need additional time.
Why are payment deadlines important?
Diamond K Armory cannot begin processing many orders—including Order-In items—until payment has been received.
Prompt payment allows us to:
Order inventory
Begin shipping
Schedule pickups
Pay consignors
Keep future auctions running smoothly
Can I add another item after the auction closes?
Sometimes.
If an item remains available through our After Sales Program, we may be able to add it to your existing invoice.
This is handled on a case-by-case basis and depends on factors such as consignor approval, payment status, and whether your order has already been processed or shipped.
Simply because another bidder won an item at what appears to be a good price does not mean it will be available at that price after the auction.
What is the After Sales Program?
After Sales gives buyers a second opportunity to purchase certain items after the auction has ended.
Participation is entirely at the discretion of Diamond K Armory and the consignor.
Not every unsold/sold item will be available.
How do I purchase an After Sales item?
If an item is eligible for After Sales, we will contact you.
We’ll verify that the item is still available and confirm pricing before adding it to your invoice.
Can I negotiate the price of an After Sales item?
No.
Our After Sales Program is not intended to be a negotiation process.
If you were previously outbid but are still willing to purchase the item at your highest bid placed during the auction, we’re often happy to discuss it with the consignor if the item remains available.
However, we are generally not interested in spending hours negotiating offers after the auction has ended.
Why wasn’t an item available through After Sales?
Not every consignor chooses to participate, and not every order-in item has multiples available to sell at that price.
Some items are returned to the consignor, re-entered into a future auction, or otherwise unavailable.
Can I combine an After Sales purchase with my auction winnings?
Yes.
If your original order has not already been packed or shipped, we will do our best to combine eligible After Sales purchases whenever practical.
Can I refuse an item after I win it?
No.
Winning a lot creates a legally binding agreement to purchase that item.
Please bid only if you’re prepared to complete the transaction.
What happens if I default on an auction purchase?
Failure to complete your purchase may result in:
Late fees
Loss of bidding privileges
Collection efforts
Legal action
Negative bidder history
Additional remedies permitted by our Terms & Conditions
Can I have my item reconsigned instead of completing the purchase?
Possibly—but only as a last resort.
Any reconsignment must first be approved by Diamond K Armory.
The original invoice must still be paid in full before the item can be reconsigned.
Reconsigned default items are subject to a higher commission structure and any applicable fees.
Will reconsigning guarantee I recover my money?
No.
There are absolutely no guarantees that a reconsigned item will recover all—or even any—of your original purchase price.
While we’ll do our best to help maximize the item’s value, market conditions ultimately determine what an item sells for.
Additionally, unrealistic reserve prices are generally not permitted and may be limited to the original hammer price or another amount deemed appropriate by Diamond K Armory.
Why don’t you simply cancel unpaid purchases?
Because every winning bid affects more than just the buyer.
When someone defaults:
The consignor’s property remains unsold.
Other legitimate bidders lose the opportunity to purchase the item.
Diamond K Armory pays platform fees and incurs additional time and expense to remarket the item.
Future auctions become less efficient.
Enforcing our Terms & Conditions helps maintain a fair auction environment for everyone.
What happens next?
Once payment has been received, we’ll begin preparing your order for pickup, shipment, or transfer.
The next section explains everything you need to know about shipping, local pickup, combined orders, insurance, and tracking.
Why do you pursue defaulting bidders? Wouldn’t it be easier to just move on?
It’s a fair question, and one we hear from time to time.
The short answer is: sometimes it would be easier—but it wouldn’t be fair.
When a winning bidder doesn’t honor their commitment, the consequences extend far beyond that individual.
The consignor loses a legitimate sale.
Other bidders lose the opportunity to purchase the item.
Diamond K Armory has already invested time photographing, researching, cataloging, marketing, answering questions, processing paperwork, and preparing the item for sale.
We also incur real costs, including platform fees, payment processing fees, advertising expenses, labor, administrative time, storage, remarketing, and the expense of conducting another auction to sell the item.
Simply canceling unpaid purchases and moving on would encourage people to bid carelessly, knowing there are no consequences if they change their minds.
Unfortunately, the firearms auction industry has seen an increase in non-paying bidders in recent years. Too often, habitual defaulting bidders simply move from one auction company to the next because they are never held accountable. That hurts consignors, honest bidders, and auction companies alike.
We believe that trend will continue unless auction companies are willing to enforce the commitments that bidders voluntarily make.
Our goal has never been to “go after” people.
Our goal is to protect our consignors, our honest bidders, and the integrity of the auction process by encouraging bidders to honor the commitments they willingly make.
That said, we also understand that life happens. Genuine emergencies, unexpected hardships, and honest mistakes can occur. If someone communicates with us promptly and respectfully, we’re often willing to discuss reasonable solutions.
What becomes difficult is when someone refuses to communicate, ignores invoices, or simply decides they no longer want an item after preventing someone else from purchasing it.
Fortunately, the overwhelming majority of our customers are honest people who pay promptly and never experience these issues.
Our default policies exist to protect those customers—not to punish honest mistakes.
Why do you report non-paying bidders?
Because every winning bid has consequences.
Most bidders honor their commitments, and we appreciate that.
By reporting non-paying bidders, we can help protect other auction houses, honest buyers, consignors, and the integrity of online auctions as a whole.
SHIPPING & LOCAL PICKUP
Do you ship firearms?
Yes.
We ship firearms to licensed FFL dealers throughout the United States in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Firearms cannot be shipped directly to individuals unless permitted by law.
Do you ship non-firearm items?
Absolutely.
We regularly ship optics, magazines (where legal), accessories, parts, knives, ammunition (where permitted), collectibles, apparel, and many other non-restricted items.
Do you ship internationally?
Sometimes.
While we do not export firearms internationally, we have successfully shipped eligible non-restricted items to countries including Canada and France, as well as U.S. territories such as Puerto Rico.
International shipments are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and must comply with all applicable U.S. export regulations and the destination country’s import laws.
How much does shipping cost?
Every shipment is different, but our typical shipping charges are:
Handguns, suppressors, optics, and most accessories
Approximately $20–30 for the first item
Approximately $5 for each additional item that fits in the same package
Long guns
Approximately $30–40 for the first firearm
Approximately $5 for each additional firearm that safely fits in the same package
These are estimates only. Actual shipping costs depend on package size, weight, destination, insurance, and carrier rates.
Do you combine shipping?
Yes.
Whenever practical, we combine as many eligible items into the same package as safely possible.
Combining shipments often reduces your overall shipping cost.
Do you charge a handling fee?
Yes.
$10
Handling fees are charged per box, not per item.
Your handling fee helps cover the materials and labor required to professionally package your order.
If ten eligible items safely fit into one box, you’ll only pay one handling fee for that box.
Do you mark up shipping?
No!
We do not inflate carrier shipping charges.
The amount we pay the shipping carrier is the amount you pay.
Our only additional charge is the published handling fee per package.
Why don’t you use a fulfillment company?
Because we believe your order deserves better.
Every order is packed in-house by the Diamond K Armory team.
We don’t outsource packing to a third-party fulfillment warehouse, and we don’t use Shipping Saint.
Packing orders ourselves allows us to better protect firearms, combine shipments whenever possible, verify contents before shipment, and maintain quality control from start to finish.
Do you insure shipments?
Yes.
Shipping insurance is available at $1 per $100 of insured value.
Insurance helps protect your purchase against loss or damage while in transit.
Can I decline shipping insurance?
Yes.
However, once a shipment is delivered to the carrier without insurance, Diamond K Armory cannot assume responsibility for loss or damage that occurs during transit.
We strongly recommend insuring valuable purchases.
Which carriers do you use?
Carrier selection depends on the contents of your shipment, destination, applicable laws, and current shipping requirements.
We utilize trusted carriers that best meet the needs of each shipment.
How long will it take to ship my order?
Shipping times vary depending on:
Payment status
Receipt of your receiving FFL (if applicable)
Auction volume
Order size
Whether the item is an Order-In item
Federal and state compliance requirements
We work as quickly as possible while ensuring every order is packed accurately and securely.
When will I receive tracking information?
Tracking information is typically provided once your shipment has been packaged and the carrier has accepted the package.
Can you hold my shipment?
Yes.
If you’re expecting to win multiple auctions or have another reason for delaying shipment, please contact us before your order is processed.
Whenever practical, we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.
Can I pick up my order instead of having it shipped?
Absolutely.
Local pickup is available by appointment during our normal business hours.
Appointments help us ensure your order is prepared and ready when you arrive.
Why do I need an appointment?
Appointments allow us to:
Prepare your order in advance
Reduce customer wait times
Ensure required paperwork is ready
Better serve every customer
We appreciate your understanding as a small business with a limited staff.
How long do I have to pick up my order?
Pickup deadlines are outlined in our Terms & Conditions.
Orders not picked up or transferred within the required timeframe may become subject to storage fees and other policies described in our Terms & Conditions.
Can someone else pick up my order?
Possibly.
Firearms must always be transferred to the actual purchaser in accordance with federal and state law.
Non-firearm items may be picked up by another individual with prior approval in certain situations.
Please contact us in advance if someone else will be picking up your order.
My package arrived damaged. What should I do?
Please contact us immediately.
If your shipment was insured, we’ll help guide you through the claims process.
Please save all packaging materials and take photographs of the package and its contents before discarding anything.
My package says it was delivered, but I can’t find it.
Please first check with:
Household members
Neighbors
Your local carrier
If you’re still unable to locate your package, contact us as soon as possible so we can help determine the next steps.
Why does shipping sometimes take longer than expected?
We’re still a small business—not an Amazon warehouse.
Every firearm is verified, every order is packed by hand, every shipment is checked for accuracy, and every package is prepared by our own staff.
During large auctions, we’re often processing hundreds of items in a short period of time. While we work as efficiently as possible, we’d rather spend a few extra minutes packing your order correctly than rush and make a mistake.
We appreciate your patience and promise we’re working hard to get your order to you as quickly and safely as possible.
Why don’t you mark up shipping?
Because that’s how we’d want to be treated.
We’ve all purchased something online only to discover the shipping charge was significantly higher than what it actually cost.
We don’t believe in using shipping as a profit center.
The amount we pay the carrier is the amount you pay.
Our published handling fee simply helps cover the cost of packing materials, labor, and safely preparing your shipment.
Why do you pack and ship everything in-house?
Because quality matters.
We don’t outsource our packing to a fulfillment company.
Every firearm and every package is packed by our own team.
That allows us to:
Verify every order.
Better protect firearms during shipment.
Combine shipments whenever practical.
Maintain quality control from start to finish.
We believe your order deserves that extra attention.
Why don’t you use Shipping Saint?
Simply put—it doesn’t fit how we want to serve our customers.
We prefer to handle every shipment ourselves so we can personally verify your order, answer questions, combine packages when possible, offer the lowest possible shipping rates, and maintain complete control over the shipping process.
FFL & FIREARM TRANSFERS
Do firearms have to ship to an FFL?
In most cases, yes.
Unless the firearm qualifies for a legal exception under federal and applicable state law, firearms must be shipped to a valid Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL) for transfer.
How do I send you my receiving FFL?
Your receiving dealer may:
Email a copy of their FFL to us.
Send it through their preferred distributor or FFL exchange service.
Contact us directly.
Please make sure they include your name or invoice number so we can match the license to your order.
Does my dealer need to send their FFL every time?
Not necessarily.
If we’ve previously received your dealer’s current license and it’s still valid, another copy may not be necessary.
How do I know if you’ve received my dealer’s FFL?
If you’re unsure, simply contact us.
We’re happy to verify that we have everything needed to process your transfer.
How long does it take to ship my firearm after you receive my FFL?
Once we’ve received payment, a valid receiving FFL, and all other required information, we’ll begin processing your shipment as quickly as possible.
Actual shipping times vary depending on auction volume and workload.
Can you ship multiple firearms to the same FFL?
Absolutely.
Whenever practical, we’ll combine eligible firearms into the same shipment to help reduce shipping costs.
Do I pay my local dealer?
Yes.
Any transfer fees charged by your receiving FFL are separate from Diamond K Armory’s charges and are paid directly to your dealer.
Transfer fees vary from dealer to dealer.
Can you recommend an FFL near me?
Unfortunately, we can’t maintain an accurate list of every dealer across the country, but we can try to point you in the right direction.
We recommend contacting local gun stores or using ATF and manufacturer dealer locators to find a dealer that meets your needs.
What if my dealer won’t accept shipments from another FFL?
This is uncommon, but if it happens, please contact us as soon as possible.
We’ll work with you to determine the best solution.
Do you ship to California?
Yes- when the firearm is legal for sale and possession in California and all applicable California requirements can be met.
Not every firearm can legally be shipped into California.
It is the buyer’s responsibility to verify legality before bidding.
Do you ship to states with firearm restrictions?
Yes, whenever the firearm and configuration are legal in that jurisdiction.
Certain states restrict:
Magazine capacity
Threaded barrels
Assault weapon features
Handgun rosters
Other firearm characteristics
It’s the buyer’s responsibility to ensure the firearm is legal where they live before placing a bid.
Do you ship magazines to restricted states?
Only when permitted by law.
If magazines cannot legally be shipped to your location, they may be removed from the shipment or alternative arrangements may be required.
No credit or refund is guaranteed for prohibited accessories removed to comply with applicable law.
Can you ship directly to my home?
Most modern firearms must be transferred through a licensed FFL.
Non-firearm accessories and other unrestricted merchandise may ship directly to your address.
Can Curio & Relic (03 FFL) holders purchase firearms?
Yes.
Eligible Curio & Relic firearms may be shipped directly to a valid Type 03 FFL where permitted by law.
Modern firearms that are not C&R eligible must still transfer through the appropriate dealer.
Can antique firearms ship directly to me?
In many cases, yes.
Federal law generally exempts qualifying antique firearms manufactured in or before 1898 from the definition of a firearm.
However, state and local laws vary.
Please verify the laws applicable to your location before bidding.
Can black powder firearms ship directly to me?
Many black powder firearms may ship directly to the purchaser where permitted by law.
Certain modern muzzleloaders or regulated firearms may still require an FFL transfer depending on their configuration and applicable laws.
What happens if my firearm can’t legally be transferred?
It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure they are legally able to own the firearm before bidding.
If a firearm cannot legally be transferred because of restrictions known or applicable to the buyer, Diamond K Armory’s default policies may apply.
What if my dealer refuses the transfer?
Please contact us immediately.
We’ll work with you and your dealer to determine whether another transfer option is available.
Additional shipping or transfer fees may apply.
Can another person complete the transfer for me?
No.
Federal law generally requires the firearm to be transferred to the actual purchaser.
Straw purchases and transfers intended to circumvent federal or state law will not be facilitated.
I’m an FFL dealer. Can I purchase firearms through Diamond K Armory?
Absolutely.
Licensed dealers are welcome to participate in our auctions just like any other bidder.
Please provide a current copy of your FFL if we don’t already have one on file.
I’m an FFL dealer. Can I sometimes buy items from Diamond K Armory below my wholesale cost?
Yes—sometimes.
Many dealers assume their distributor pricing will always be the lowest available, but that’s not always the case.
Diamond K Armory works with multiple national distributors, directly with numerous manufacturers, and participates in various dealer programs, closeouts, special purchases, and promotional opportunities.
As a result, there are times when we’re able to offer pricing that is equal to—or even below—another dealer’s wholesale cost.
As we like to say:
Wholesale isn’t always the lowest price.
We encourage fellow dealers to compare pricing—you may be surprised by what we can offer.
NFA ITEMS & SUPPRESSORS
What are NFA items?
NFA (National Firearms Act) items are firearms and accessories regulated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).
Examples include:
Suppressors (Silencers)
Short-Barreled Rifles (SBRs)
Short-Barreled Shotguns (SBSs)
Machine Guns
Any Other Weapons (AOWs)
Destructive Devices (DDs)
These items require additional paperwork and ATF approval before they may be transferred to most individuals.
Can anyone purchase an NFA item?
Generally, yes.
If NFA items are legal where you live and you can legally possess firearms, you may be eligible to purchase an NFA item after completing the required ATF transfer process.
State and local laws vary, so please verify legality before bidding.
Do NFA items ship directly to me?
No.
NFA items must be transferred in accordance with federal law.
Transfers generally require ATF approval before you may take possession.
What paperwork is required?
The exact paperwork depends on your situation, but most individual transfers require:
ATF Form 4
Fingerprints
Passport-style photograph
Responsible Person Questionnaire (if applicable)
Payment of any applicable ATF tax
We’ll help guide you through the process.
How long does ATF approval take?
Approval times are determined entirely by the ATF and can vary significantly.
Because approval times change frequently, we cannot accurately predict when a transfer will be approved.
Can I purchase through a trust?
Absolutely.
Many customers choose to register NFA items through a trust.
If purchasing through a trust, additional documentation may be required.
Can I purchase as an individual?
Yes.
Many customers register NFA items as individuals.
We’ll explain the paperwork required based on the method you choose.
What is the NFA transfer fee?
Diamond K Armory currently charges $25 per NFA item for processing NFA transfers.
We do not charge a fee for shipping NFA items to transfer dealers.
Can my suppressor ship to another dealer?
Yes.
Suppressors and other NFA items may be transferred to another qualified FFL/SOT in accordance with applicable ATF regulations.
Do you use Silencer Shop?
Yes.
Diamond K Armory utilizes the Silencer Shop system.
Do you have a Silencer Shop kiosk?
No.
While we use the Silencer Shop system, we do not have a kiosk.
Can you create my Silencer Shop account?
No.
Customers are responsible for creating and managing their own Silencer Shop accounts.
Can you take my fingerprints or passport photo?
No.
Because we do not have a Silencer Shop kiosk, we cannot collect electronic fingerprints or create Silencer Shop accounts.
Customers will need to complete those steps through Silencer Shop or another approved fingerprint provider.
Can I use fingerprints I already have on file?
Possibly.
Depending on your transfer method and the service you’re using, previously submitted fingerprints may be reusable.
If you’re unsure, we’re happy to discuss your specific situation.
Can you help me complete the paperwork?
Absolutely.
While we cannot provide legal advice, we’re happy to help guide you through the transfer process and answer questions about the paperwork.
What happens after my NFA item is approved?
Once your ATF approval has been received and all legal requirements have been satisfied, we’ll contact you to arrange pickup or transfer.
Can I pick up my suppressor immediately after buying it?
No.
Like all NFA items, suppressors must receive ATF approval before they can be transferred to most purchasers.
Can I cancel my NFA purchase while waiting on ATF approval?
No.
Once the transfer process has begun, cancellations become significantly more complicated and may not be possible.
Please be certain you’re committed to the purchase before bidding.
Why buy an NFA item from Diamond K Armory?
NFA transfers can seem intimidating if you’ve never gone through the process.
We’re here to make it as straightforward as possible.
Whether you’re purchasing your first suppressor or adding another transferable machine gun to your collection, we’ll help guide you through every step of the process and answer questions along the way.
ORDER-IN ITEMS & SPECIAL ORDERS
What are Order-In items?
Order-In items are firearms and accessories that Diamond K Armory orders from one of our distributors or manufacturers after the auction has ended.
These items are clearly identified within the auction catalog.
Why do you offer Order-In items?
Order-In items allow us to offer a much larger selection than we could ever stock in our showroom.
Instead of being limited to what’s physically on our shelves, we can offer thousands of products from numerous manufacturers and distributors across the country.
This allows our customers to purchase both unique consignments and brand-new firearms in the same auction.
Why do you choose the Order-In items you list?
We don’t simply list random products from a distributor’s catalog.
We try to offer items that we believe our customers will genuinely enjoy, including:
New product releases
Limited editions
Distributor exclusives
Firearms currently on sale
Hard-to-find models
Collector pieces
Interesting or unique firearms
Great value items
Part of the fun of our auctions is discovering items you may not see at every local gun store.
Why aren’t all Order-In items the lowest-priced on the internet?
Firearm pricing changes constantly.
No single dealer, distributor, or manufacturer has the best price on every firearm every day.
While we work hard to remain competitive, we’re also a small business.
We didn’t start with outside investors or millions of dollars in operating capital. We built Diamond K Armory from the ground up.
Unlike some large retailers, we aren’t purchasing truckloads or pallets of the exact same firearm to receive enormous volume discounts.
Instead, we focus on offering a wide variety of products, competitive pricing, and exceptional customer service.
Sometimes we’ll have one of the best prices available.
Other times, someone else may.
Our goal is to provide value—not simply be the lowest price on every item.
Why should I buy an Order-In firearm from Diamond K Armory?
Price is only one part of the equation.
When you purchase through Diamond K Armory, you’re also supporting a small business that provides:
Honest customer service
Transparent policies
Professional support
Fast communication
Auction convenience
Access to unique inventory
Knowledgeable assistance before and after the sale
We appreciate every customer who chooses to support a locally owned business.
Are Order-In items in stock?
Not necessarily.
Distributor inventory changes constantly.
While we make every effort to ensure availability, inventory can occasionally sell out before an order is placed.
When do you order Order-In items?
Order-In items are generally ordered after payment has been received.
This helps prevent unnecessary cancellations and allows us to keep auction pricing competitive.
Why don’t you order Order-In items before they’re paid for?
Because we would assume all of the financial risk.
If we ordered every unpaid firearm immediately after the auction, we’d potentially be left owning inventory that was never paid for.
Waiting until payment is received protects our business while helping us continue offering a large selection of Order-In items.
How long do Order-In items take?
Most Order-In items arrive within approximately 3-10 business days after payment is received.
Actual delivery times depend on distributor availability, manufacturer shipping times, holidays, and other factors outside our control.
Can an Order-In item sell out?
Yes.
Although uncommon, distributor inventory can change rapidly.
If an item becomes unavailable before it is ordered, we’ll contact you as soon as possible to discuss available options.
What happens if my Order-In item becomes unavailable?
If an item is discontinued, backordered indefinitely, or otherwise unavailable, we’ll work with you to determine the best solution.
Depending on the situation, options may include:
Waiting for additional inventory
Selecting a comparable product
Receiving a refund
Are the photos of Order-In items the exact firearm I’ll receive?
Usually not.
Most Order-In items utilize manufacturer or distributor photographs.
Minor variations in wood grain, serial number, finish, production date, or packaging may occur.
Unless otherwise noted, photographs are representative of the product being offered.
Can I inspect an Order-In firearm before bidding?
Generally, no.
Because Order-In items are not typically in our physical inventory, they usually aren’t available for preview.
If you have questions about a specific model, please contact us before bidding.
Can Order-In firearms ship directly to my dealer?
Sometimes.
Depending on the manufacturer, distributor, and specific product, some Order-In firearms may be shipped directly to your receiving FFL, while others must first be received and processed by Diamond K Armory before being forwarded.
We’ll always choose the method that complies with applicable laws and, when possible, provides the best value and fastest service for the customer.
Can I return an Order-In firearm if I change my mind?
No.
Order-In items are special-order merchandise that are purchased specifically to fulfill your winning bid.
Please bid carefully and ask any questions before the auction closes.
I’m an FFL dealer. Can I sometimes buy Order-In items below my wholesale cost?
Yes.
Diamond K Armory works with multiple national distributors, directly with numerous manufacturers, and participates in dealer promotions, closeouts, buying programs, and special purchasing opportunities.
As a result, there are times when we’re able to offer pricing that is equal to—or even below—another dealer’s wholesale cost.
As we like to say:
Wholesale isn’t always the lowest price.
Can you special order something that isn’t listed in the auction?
Absolutely.
If you’re looking for a specific firearm, suppressor, optic, or accessory that isn’t currently listed, contact us.
If it’s available through one of our manufacturers or distributors, we’ll do our best to locate it and provide a quote.
Do Order-In items qualify for manufacturer warranties?
In most cases, yes.
New firearms typically include the manufacturer’s warranty, subject to that manufacturer’s terms and conditions.
For warranty questions, we recommend contacting the manufacturer directly.
Why don’t you list every firearm in your showroom?
Because we want every auction to be interesting.
We carefully select Order-In items based on availability, current promotions, limited editions, unique products, customer requests, and items we think our bidders will enjoy seeing.
Our goal isn’t simply to duplicate another distributor’s catalog—it’s to build an auction that’s fun to browse.
Why don’t you always have the lowest price?
Because we’re focused on value—not just price.
We’re a small business that was built from the ground up without outside investors or large startup loans.
Unlike some national retailers, we aren’t purchasing hundreds of identical firearms at a time to receive massive volume discounts.
Instead, we work with multiple distributors and manufacturers to find competitive pricing while providing personalized service and support.
Sometimes we’ll have the best price.
Sometimes someone else will.
We’ll always do our best to provide a fair value and an outstanding experience.
FIREARM CONSIGNMENTS & ESTATES
Why should I consign with Diamond K Armory?
Consigning your firearms allows you to reach a nationwide audience of qualified buyers without the hassle of photographing, advertising, answering questions, collecting payment, or shipping items yourself.
We handle the entire process so you can focus on getting the best possible return.
What can I consign?
We accept a wide variety of items, including:
Modern firearms
Antique firearms
NFA firearms
Suppressors
Military surplus
Estate collections
Ammunition
Optics
Knives
Reloading equipment
Magazines
Accessories
Outdoor equipment
Many other firearm-related items
If you’re unsure whether we accept something, just ask.
Do I have to live in Texas?
No.
We accept consignments from across the United States.
If you’re unable to deliver your items in person, we can help coordinate shipping your firearms to Diamond K Armory.
Can I consign just one firearm?
Absolutely.
Whether you’re selling one firearm or an entire lifetime collection, we’re happy to help.
Can I consign an entire collection?
Yes.
Estate collections and large firearm collections are one of our specialties.
Whether your collection consists of ten firearms or several hundred, we can help organize, catalog, photograph, market, and sell the entire collection.
I inherited firearms. Can you help?
Absolutely.
We regularly assist families with inherited firearms and estates.
If you’re unsure what you have or where to begin, we’re happy to help identify firearms, explain your options, and recommend the best approach for selling your collection.
Can I set a reserve price?
Yes.
Most consignors have the option of establishing a confidential reserve price.
We’ll work with you to determine a realistic reserve based on current market conditions.
What if I want an unrealistic reserve?
Our goal is to help you sell your firearm—not simply list it.
If a reserve is set substantially above current market value, we may recommend lowering it or decline the consignment.
Unrealistic reserves often discourage bidding and reduce the likelihood of a successful sale.
How do you determine reserve recommendations?
Reserve recommendations are based on several factors, including:
Current market value
Recent auction results
Overall condition
Rarity
Collector demand
Current inventory
Manufacturer availability
Ultimately, the decision is yours, but we’ll gladly provide our professional opinion.
How much commission do you charge?
Commission rates vary depending on the type of consignment, collection size, and other factors.
Our standard rate is 10%
Please contact us for current commission rates.
When do I get paid?
Consignors are typically paid after the auction has concluded, payment has been received from the buyer, and any applicable waiting periods have passed.
Specific payment timelines are outlined in your consignment agreement.
Can I consign NFA items?
Yes.
Diamond K Armory is a Type 07 FFL and Class 3 SOT and is fully equipped to handle NFA consignments.
Can I withdraw my firearm after consigning it?
Possibly.
Withdrawal requests are handled on a case-by-case basis and may be subject to the terms of your consignment agreement.
Please contact us as soon as possible if your circumstances change.
Why should I consign instead of selling my firearm outright?
It depends on your goals.
If you want immediate payment, selling your firearm outright may be the better option, and we can make an offer on it.
If your goal is to maximize your return and you’re willing to wait for the auction process, consigning often results in greater exposure and the potential for a higher selling price.
We’re happy to discuss both options and help you decide which best fits your needs.
Do you buy firearms outright?
Yes.
In addition to consignments, we also purchase firearms, estates, and collections outright.
If you’re looking for immediate payment rather than waiting for an auction, we’d be happy to evaluate your collection.
How do I get started?
Simply contact us.
We’ll discuss your items, answer any questions, explain the consignment process, and help determine the best option for your situation.
Whether you’re selling one firearm or an entire collection, we’d appreciate the opportunity to earn your business.
MYSTERY LOTS, GIVEAWAYS & THE DIAMOND K EXPERIENCE
Why do you have Mystery Lots?
Because auctions should be fun.
While our primary goal is to provide a professional marketplace for buying and selling firearms, we also believe an auction should be an experience—not just a transaction.
Mystery Lots are our way of adding a little excitement and surprise to each auction while giving bidders the opportunity to discover something unique.
What’s inside a Mystery Lot?
That’s part of the fun.
Mystery Lots may contain a variety of items such as:
Firearm accessories
Optics
Magazines
Knives
Ammunition
Outdoor gear
Collectibles
Apparel
Dealer merchandise
Promotional items
Other surprises
Every Mystery Lot is different.
Are Mystery Lots worth bidding on?
We certainly think so.
Many Mystery Lots contain items worth significantly more than the winning bid, while others are simply meant to be a fun surprise.
Like every other auction item, the final value is determined by the bidders.
Can Mystery Lots contain firearms?
Occasionally.
If a Mystery Lot contains a firearm or other regulated item, all applicable federal, state, and local laws will apply, including any required FFL or NFA transfer procedures.
Can I return a Mystery Lot if I don’t like what’s inside?
No.
The contents of Mystery Lots are intentionally undisclosed.
Part of the experience is not knowing exactly what you’ll receive until you open it.
Please bid accordingly.
Do you know what’s inside the Mystery Lots?
Yes.
Mystery Lots are assembled by Diamond K Armory.
We don’t use Mystery Lots as a way to dispose of broken, unsafe, or worthless items. Our goal is to create something that’s genuinely fun to win and enjoyable to open.
Why do you do giveaways?
Because we genuinely appreciate our customers.
Without our bidders and consignors, Diamond K Armory wouldn’t exist.
From time to time we may include giveaways, bonus merchandise, promotional items, Golden Ticket prizes, or other surprises as a way of saying thank you for supporting our business.
Specific giveaway rules and eligibility requirements will be announced separately whenever applicable.
Why do you include so many unique or unusual firearms?
Because they’re interesting.
Anyone can sell the same firearms that every other store has sitting on the shelf.
We enjoy finding items that make people stop scrolling and say,
“I’ve never seen one of those before.”
Whether it’s a rare military surplus rifle, a transferable machine gun, a limited-edition firearm, an antique Winchester, or a unique collector piece, we believe every auction should contain something exciting to discover.
Why do your auctions feel different than other auction companies?
Because we intentionally built them that way.
Of course we’re here to sell firearms.
But we’re also here to create something people genuinely look forward to participating in.
We don’t want our auctions to feel like just another online catalog.
We want them to be entertaining, educational, and memorable.
That’s why you’ll occasionally see:
Mystery Lots
Golden Ticket promotions
Customer giveaways
Limited-edition firearms
Historic collectibles
Rare and unusual inventory
Fun social media content
Educational videos
New ideas we’re testing
We’re always looking for ways to make each auction better than the last.
Are you trying to build a community or just sell products?
A little of both.
Selling firearms is what we do.
Building relationships is why we do it.
Whether you’re a first-time firearm owner, a seasoned collector, a competitive shooter, a hunter, or someone who simply enjoys browsing interesting firearms, we hope you’ll feel welcome here.
Many of our customers have become repeat bidders, consignors, and friends over the years.
We appreciate every one of them.
What’s the Diamond K Experience?
For us, it’s about more than buying and selling firearms.
It’s about building a business that people enjoy supporting.
We want every auction to offer something worth coming back for—whether that’s a great deal, a rare collectible, a Mystery Lot, a fun giveaway, or simply the confidence of knowing you’re doing business with people who genuinely care.
If you’ve participated in one of our auctions, thank you.
If you haven’t yet, we hope you’ll join us soon and experience the Diamond K difference for yourself.
