HOW IT STARTED
Diamond K Armory was born from Carson Kaddatz’s drive to merge his passion for firearms with his entrepreneurial ambitions. After earning his Bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurship & Small Business Management from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, Carson embarked on a journey to become a business owner.
To lay the groundwork for his dream, Carson pursued a Federal Firearms License (Type 7) and attended auctioneer school, ensuring he had both the expertise and legal standing required for a successful firearms retail and auction business. Throughout this process, he received invaluable support from friends and family, whose encouragement and assistance were instrumental in bringing his vision to life.
While awaiting the approval of his licensing, Carson began the building process for Diamond K Armory. Choosing a shipping container as the foundation for the business, he created a secure and functional space tailored to the needs of firearm enthusiasts and collectors. This innovative approach, combined with the steadfast support from his inner circle, set the stage for a unique and effective business setup.
